CCSD Multilingual Newcomer Program

July 8-August 2nd Monday-Thursday 8:30am-1:00pm Julio 8- Agosto 2 Lunes a Jueves 8:30am-1pm

This program will focus on our multilingual students who are new to the United States, beginning with their entry in January 2024. The summer program will focus on both the academic and social emotional aspects of transitioning to not only a new country, but also a new school community. Teachers will develop project-based learning experiences that facilitate language development in the four domains of Reading, Writing ,Speaking and Listening, in English. They will also provide instructional activities that are content-based and foster the critical skills of collaboration and communication.
